ABB NEMA Motor Starters North American Product Range

ABB provides a full range of motor starters, open type or enclosed, with UL/CSA type 1, 12, 4, 4X, 3R and explosion proof enclosures. UL/CSA combination type starters can be provided with short circuit coordination up to 85 kA using ABB molded case circuit breakers and 200 kA using our PowerLine fusible disconnect switches. ABB starters are available for most required motor starting methods.

ABB Overload relay protection

ABB Starters, sizes A9 - A300, have Class 10 adjustable thermal bimetallic overload relay protection as standard.

Sizes AF400 - AF750, have selectable Class 10, 20, 30 adjustable electronic overload relay protection as standard.

Electronic overload relay protection is available for starter sizes A9 - A300 as an option.

Electronic overload relay protection is available for other starter sizes A9 - A300 as an option.
